Toyota
Yaris GR
The Toyota Yaris GR is already a special car and, with the potential to become a future classic, protecting it properly is well worth considering. This Yaris GR was fully prepared and dry ice blasted underneath, removing years of road grime, contaminants and surface corrosion without the need for water, chemicals or abrasive media. Once cleaned back to its true condition, the underside was treated with IGL Aegis Matte, a specialist protective coating that provides a durable, almost invisible barrier against moisture, salt and road contamination while retaining the original appearance of the underside. A fantastic way to preserve this very special GR Yaris and help protect it for many years to come.
Oak Frame Work
Residential Property Extension
The oak frame was stained by the effects of weathering and general site construction work. With the window panes going in that day, the joiners were working along side us, fitting the glass as we completed each bay. Dry Ice Blasting was the only method of cleaning that was fast enough, clean and safe to allow this. The oak frame extension was open to the rest of the property so the minimal clear up was essential.
Brickwork
Age & Mortar stain removal
Bricks become stained discoloured or coated by many differing processes. We Ice blasted this property to make the old dark bricks match the new extension and rebuilt bay windows. Poor quality construction can leave mortar staining on bricks. But with expert control this can be removed without damaging the mortar beds. Equally old mortar bed joints in brick work can be removed ready for repointing.
Land Rover
Range Rover Sport L320
As is often the case with older Land Rovers and Range Rovers the outside can look and be in really condition for the age. But when you venture underneath you see the true extent of the corrosion problem. 6kg of debris, rust and grime were removed form this vehicle by Dry Ice Blasting. It was then protected with a Lanoguard treatment over the whole underside including the inside of chassis components and body cavities.
Paint Removal
18th Century Stone Window Surrounds
The stone surrounds required preparation for repainting. The is choice of days of paint stripping, scrapping and sanding with inefficient results. Media blasting or pressure wahsing which create so much mess and potential damage to window frames. Or Dry ice Blasting in a fraction of the time with a fraction of the mess. It only removes the old unadhered paint and leaves a perfect hygienically clean surface to apply new paint.
